It helps you to lose weight naturally by allowing you to burn calories with much less trouble. Even if before using it, you have picked up an injury or you have any other physical problems.

For both levels of fitness, you should work towards 1.5 – 2 hours. And, when your heart rates beat per minute are up, it is the best period for burning fat.

A High-Intensity Workout

For this, don’t need to keep checking your heart rate. And then look to see that you do not go above your highest beats per minute. It is not a good idea to go above this.

So start by doing your light warm-up. Then cycle on this home exercise equipment with the most intense that you can for 20 seconds. Go for it. Repeat five times. This workout will allow you to get the best weight loss on what I think is the home exercise equipment.

Then cycle at a low intensity for 10 seconds. Repeat this ten more times to complete your session of high-intensity training.

The treadmill works on your legs and buttocks. But it can help to tone your stomach as well, and a lot of us want this.

A good thing about this is it is excellent for overall health and is an excellent cardiovascular workout. (your breathing.) The fitter you are then the longer you will be able to stay with on the apparatus.

 An Exercise For The Treadmill

When it comes to using this, you really should mix it up to gain the maximum benefit from the machine. So by this, we mean that if one day you do a hill-climbing workout the next day. That is the top way of getting the most from your home exercise equipment.

Just do a flat jog or maybe an interval workout whereby you train hardish for 15 minutes, followed by another session of the same intensity. But do not go at it with the most energy that you have.

Ideally, you should break up high-intensity workouts with some low-intensity ones. That is going to make it a lot more appealing to do. Do these in between your resting periods.

For Low-Intensity Training

If you wish to make things interesting, you can try the “get out the way” workout

That, too, is basic. You merely start warming up by doing a five-minute walk. Then you start walking sideways for one minute on each side. (3 minutes each side if you have super health.)

Rest for 15 seconds and repeat. Again do this ten times. Although you will need to increase the time to reach that hour. Nevertheless, you should be aiming for it if you wish to lose weight fast. Now that you have a list of the home exercise equipment to have, you have no excuse.

 For High-Intensity Training

The next exercise is to get the most home exercise equipment it certainly is.

Do a 5-minute gentle jog to warm up.

Then make a 30-second sprint where your heart rate should reach 90 – 95% of your maximum beats per minute. You really should not be able to keep this sprinting pace up much beyond the 20 seconds anyway. 35 at best. Not if you run your fastest

. Yes, you can use this home exercise equipment for both kinds of exercise. But HIIT ( High-intensity interval training) will be better for weight loss.

You may want to stop the exercise, however, slow down to a moderate walk or jog. Please, allow 2 minutes for yourself to recover.

You can wait until your heart rate lowers to between 120 – 130 beats per minute.

Repeat this exercise for around 20 minutes. Do this for maximum benefit, and, when you have done, try walking for 5 minutes. That is so that you can cool down from your training.

The Rowing Machine

Another excellent way to burn the excess calories you eat is the rowing machine. These are good for working out/on the upper and the lower body. It is in the movement when you finish each stroke. Unless, of course, you do not feel like working up a sweat on any home exercise equipment. Lol.

And the good/bad thing (depending on how you look at it) is the fact that the rowing machine does not allow for any shortcuts or cheating. That is because the whole body is in use for the smooth finishing of each stroke. So, I’m sorry, but when you work out with them, you do an exercise — a real one.

If you have had enough of, let’s say the treadmill. Instead, you could always choose the rowing machine, for that great cardiovascular workout. And, you know what that means for you?

Yes, you may guess. The rowing machine is better for overall fitness. And as well as this you will be working out your legs a lot. As, if you do this the right way, it is all about them on the home exercise equipment.

A Low-Intensity Workout

To start with, try warming up. It is the same as for high-intensity training. Sit on the machine with your back and legs straight.

You should have the handles up against your chest and slowly. (while still keeping your shoulders relaxed) Straighten your arms away from your body until they are straight. Repeat this exercise for 2 minutes.

Next, your legs

When you have your arms straight, move your hips in a forward direction with your knees slightly bent. Because the seat moves forward towards the flywheel of the machine and when you have completed it once, repeat for 3 minutes.

However, now that you do that, this is the final part of the warm-up. Put the two things together, and you will have one full stroke. Again do three minutes of these.

For this low-intensity, you can try a pyramid workout. Do a minute with a 10-second break. Then move on to a 2-minute row with a 20-second rest.

Then three minutes break with a 30-second break and so on to and up to 7 minutes. Moreover, make sure that you take a rest. Take a 10-second pause before you do it the other way around.

 A High-Intensity Exercise

As I say, make for a 10-minute row gently to warm up. Then with all of your effort, start a 30-second sprint. That will be where the stroke rate should be between 16 – 21 per minute. Look on the computer’s screen to check. Repeat the exercise six times.

Take a minute – 1.5 minutes break then repeat six times.

Unlike what a lot of people do, you need to rest a good 60 seconds to 1.5 minutes break. And then repeat six times.

Then row from fast until you slow right down. And take around 4 minutes to do this on the home exercise equipment.

    • Yes, it is 80-85% diet. However, we should never underestimate the importance of exercise too. When you have both of them in place, Essentially, you are on to a sure-fire winner indeed. It may be the “added” stimulus, but as I am sure you are aware, the weight will be lost much quicker with it.

I have a friend who rides a stationary recumbent bike for over an hour at a time. I like the idea of the bike workstation! Since I sit at the computer a lot it would be great!   5. I like the fact that you covered so many different types of home exercise equipment. I mainly use cardio just to stay fit but its a great way to lose fat. I have a little bit of a hip problem so I especially enjoyed the rowing machines section and mostly the HIIT videos. It is interesting to actually see someone else train that way.

  6. There are some good topics of discussion in this article. I think that cardio is a great tool for losing weight. It should not be the only aspect of fitness that is used however. Lifting weights to build muscle increases your metabolism which allows you to burn more calories in the long run, rather than only burning calories when you exercise.

    It seems to me that many “cardio bunnies” will lose weight but a good chunk of that weight is muscle. When losing weight, obviously fat should be targeted and so, strictly performing cardio will not let you target fat like you should. It’s also my personal opinion that exercising and the comfort of your home should not be intertwined. Exercising should push you out of your comfort zone, but it’s tough to leave your comfort zone when you are in your home.

    I also think a gym has valuable equipment that you cannot get by just exercising at home. I like that you discuss HIIT cardio, as that is the best form of cardio for targeting fat and sparing muscle in my opinion. Just wanted to share some of my honest and raw opinions.   7. I use to join the gym and have the use of most of the equipment there. I particularly like the exercise bike and the rowing machine. At the moment, I am not a member of the gym anymore. I have purchased my own bike to ride around where I can see nature. It’s a lot more fun than being stuck inside a gym. I think it’s also great to purchase your own equipment that you will use often.
