Home Exercises To Lose Weight: 6 Of Them To Get On With

A Great Pice Of Equipment For Home Exercises To Lose Weight

Home exercises to lose weight is what should you do. Training is a crucial part of going alongside your diet. You will improve by changing your diet, but you will massively improve if you also undergo a strict exercise plan to lose weight as well.

First, you really should be setting the scene for your attempt. However, to do so, make sure that you have the requirements and have a weight loss diet in place.

There are lots of exercises that you can do in the comfort of our home. Although this will depend on what it is and how much you are attempting to lose. However, you may have to have a small investment. It is easy to do home exercises to lose weight.

If you do go ahead and spend a little (WHICH IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT LOSS YOU WILL) Then you will have to purchase one or both of these two pieces of apparatus, Firstly there is the rowing machine.

There is one that I highly recommend. It will help you to naturally lose weight and is for sale at a bargain price on this site.

Number 2

The Exercise Bike

The second is an EB (exercise bike), is one of the super home exercises to lose weight. And an absolute must if you wish to exercise intensely. The bike, like the rowing machine, is excellent for your cardiovascular system (breathing and recovery)

 Number 3

Stomach Crunches Are Superb Home Exercises To Lose Weight

The Classic, A Cartoon Of A Man Doing A Sit-Up

In another post, I do suggest this next exercise, and I cannot stress it enough. It is the stomach crunch. Be seated and lie flat on your back in an open space. It does not, however, have to be a large area. That is because you will only be moving up and down and not all around the place.

Lay on your back and cross your arms on your chest because it is easy to form a bad habit of using them to “lever” your way up to count one. As if you do not, it is much simpler and will cheat you out of the best effect of them.

You will get extra assistance when purchasing something that goes hand in glove with this exercise, such as a sit-up frame. If you don’t do any exercising, then I suggest you try this out.

With yourself in a lying down, bring the top half of your body 6 inches off the ground, you must keep your back STRAIGHT AND HAVE FOCUS ON ONLY THE CEILING.

Start with doing 30, and when you have done this, take a 2-minute rest. No more than this, though. Then start again and do 25. Then two-minute rest then 20 down to five.

Do you follow?

Have a 2-minute break after you do the halfway five. Then, when you have come down to, and including the five, the process is then you repeat however many times that you can.

That is what is called a pyramid and will strengthen your core, and your abs will also tone and tighten the more frequently you do it That is purely a strength exercise and not a cardiovascular workout and will most DEFINITELY help you to lose weight naturally.

Number 4

Push-ups Are Excellent Home Exercises To Lose Weight

Next, we move on to squat thrusts. These are great for the legs and “Rectus Abdominis” (STOMACH MUSCLES) It is also like the exercise bike and rowing machine an intense cardio workout.

A man demonstrating a push-up

Push yourself to a place that you are comfortable with then stop. Make a mental note of that number and then decrease by the amount of 5.

Remember you have to climb back up the pyramid, so don’t make it an impossible task. You must finish with the number that you started with so try maybe 15 to begin with and then ten and then 5 and back up.

That is a fantastic one of the home exercises to lose weight you can do.

That is just an example as I am well aware that fitness levels will differ a lot.

Number 5

Jogging On The Spot

A Graphic Of A Man Crossing The Finish Line Running

There is a lot to be said for jogging on the spot. Unfortunately, I can’t partake in it as my disability will not allow it.

That is nearly as effective as a treadmill so you can lose weight naturally by doing this. Like the exercise bike and the treadmill, it is an excellent cardio workout too and will help you towards a fitter and lighter you.

Set yourself a time limit and stick to the duration you set. You must feel shattered and glad to sit when you have finished. The bonus with this is you can do it anywhere that you can stand. That has to be an excellent home exercise to lose weight it is.

 Number 6

The Press-up

The “Press Up,” It is yet another exercise that used to be very common, but over the last decade, the press up is not as popular. Again this is not a cardio workout, but when you do it with these, it will boost your overall level of fitness.

Start the same as you did in the squat thrusts. Find a number which you are pretty MAXED OUT at and then do less, by five each time. Then rise again to finish on that number.

There should be a lot of effort. Because as your fitness improves, you will be able to raise the amounts of your pyramids that you do.

Remember what I am saying to you in other posts that you MUST do them with a healthy weight loss diet. It is an essential part of it but will work 10 x better when you do them together.

As a lady would say (backed them up), I am aware that not everyone can indeed “do these kinds of exercise.” That could be down to not just being overweight, but also due to medical conditions such as arthritis.

Lose Your Excess Weight

Click on the link to see the prices on Amazon of some exercise equipment you will most definitely need along with your journey if it is that you choose to lose your excess weight.

They will make the whole process much more comfortable for you, and you will undoubtedly see more rapid results.

You see, once you have got your diet under control all that you need to have is the other half of the equation for your weight loss attempt to be a success. To what am I referring? The exercise, of course.

Moving on to some equipment, you can always try these. These are super home exercises to lose weight. Because, you see, once you have got your diet under control, all that you need to have is the other thing for your weight loss to work.

I am, of course talking about the exercise. Go to this link “Home Exercise Equipment” to see some items that will help you to do more home exercises to lose weight.

  1. This home exercise to lose weight post is a great read, thank you – my personal favorite home workout has to be rowing, can get in the zone and just forget out everything and row my heart out. Great for stress relief and the added bonus of weight loss!

  2. Sounds like a really good regimen for home exercises to lose weight. Working through a pyramid can be so tough, but the results make the effort worthwhile. Thanks for laying out this program.

    1. Oh yes, it is a great way to lose weight. As when you do pyramids, it will increase your strength as well as your physical appearance. And yes, I am writing these exercises down as they cost nothing to do. And in doing them, you WILL get healthy too.

  3. Unfortunately none of the exercises are possible for me as I have arthritis in my knee – cannot bend it easily or kneel or squat and if I got on floor on my back to do crunches. would never get up again!

    1. Yes, I know about restricted mobility as I am as I said on site, disabled and so (lower body and only the use of one arm) So I can only do upper body exercises for which I am doing a post at the moment.

    2. I am also somewhat restricted since I have many medical issues. I enjoy walking, but now with my weight gain, I only walk a little, but as I breath better, I can walk more. I have emphysema and so it is very important for me to lose weight. I can only eat meat and fruit.

I do not eat a lot of pasta. I have blood issues (almost died with blood clots in my lungs–that is when I was in an induced coma and when you wake up all sorts of experiences in seeing things)

Anyway, I take warfarin and cannot eat very many vegetables; in fact, I only drink V-8 juice. I always bake my meat. I am on SSI so have very little money, but my friend has the bike you turn with your feet. She will let me have it. I know you need these bought from your affiliate product. When I get sales from my website, I won’t forget you.

I have a friend who is paraplegic and in a wheelchair, and he just put his hands on the chair and lifts himself up. Can you do that with one arm? My dad told me one time that when you get old, the exercises do not do as well as when you are younger. Takes more exercise.

I get on the floor and do the exercises you talked about. I did this and lost a lot of weight. I need to do it again. You help provide the motivation for me. Thanks.

I need to divide my time from the computer (WA). I get on the floor to clean up the cat hair off the floor with a brush. Housework is a great exercise. Oh yes, my daughter has severe arthritis in the knee too, but she exercises it and others too.

That is the best thing if you have arthritis. EXERCISE! Than is what I would tell Jenny. I have not finished my website yet, but if you have time, will you take a look at it? Sounds like a plan.

Did you get that phrase from the Michael Connelly novels? The detective novel with Bosch is the source of that statement. He also said, “Everybody counts or nobody counts.” I can tell that is your attitude. You want to help everybody, but remember people have to do their part to want to be helped. I will send a PM soon. I like your website. I just wished I had the funds. I have trouble with money issues. I love learning and that is why I really love WA.

It is all new to me and so exercises my brain. Best to you. Do you like my motto I will have on my opening website (not done yet) “Let me entertain you.” “Everyone has a story and my story is the 501 jean is an investment in a good appearance. Talk to you again soon.

      1. Thank you very much for the detailed comment of your medical woes, Judy. I am so sorry to hear about them. Did you smoke by chance? My mother died when I was eight from emphysema :(.

Also, I would like to thank you for the quotes they are not only enlightening but oh so real especially the one about helping yourself too. Of course, I will take a look at your website. PM it to me and we’ll go through it together.

  4. insurancewhisper.com

You ought to be a part of a contest for one of the most usefulsites on the web. I will highly recommend this web site!

    1. Great thanks so much for your kind remark. As I have alluded to many times, the advice is the name of the game, and I am here to serve anyone with it who needs it. Bookmark the site and refer to it whenever you need pointers on diet or exercise.

    1. Haha, you WILL get more. Just last week I added five more posts my friend, and there are many more to come on top of those too. By the way, to let you know, I have added a lot of content since you last looked, so go ahead and view it. There is also a free eBook on the righthand side of every page. It goes by the name of “The clean eating guide.”

  5. As much as I love all the things that a gym has to offer, I prefer to work out at home. I love my exercise bike and wouldn’t trade it. Thanks for explaining the squat thrusts and press up in detail, as I am interested in including these into my exercise routine. I really like your site and will be back. Great information, as always!

    1. Great at least you are aware of your weight because you do a healthy routine. Of course, add to it and return any time and I’m sure that there will be many more posts on their way. Thank you for your comment.

  6. this is a very informative post. I am not to a point were I am overweight but I am starting to get there. I guess my metabolism is starting to go. I was wondering if you think these will help? or any good foods to go with it. im not trying to lose weight just keep it off

    1. Oh yes, sure they will help enormously fear not. The exercises are easy to do, and they COST NOTHING either. Once you hit 35 ish your metabolism begins its steady decline to retirement lol. So yes, in short, they will help you. Thanks for your comment.

  7. Hi Simon.

This was very eye opening to read. I never realized that jogging on the spot or in place helped that much so I kind of ignored that part of exercise, lol.

Thanks for your great info on this site, I am following it. And I admire your strength and determination in spite of having a disability-I can relate-I have an auto-immune disease and they classified me as “disabled” but I like to think otherwise. But I know we have to accept what we are.

Also, exercise does wonders for my pain-within reason of course. It’s amazing.

    Thanks.

    1. Sorry to hear that you are in pain I really am 🙁 And yes follow the info contained within this site and you will have that weight monitored and well under control especially when the foodstuffs are combined with exercise too.

  8. Great post that set clear and meaningful alternatives means of working out for parents or folks that can not make it to the gym. This will allow more quality time with family and save them money.

    1. Thank you, sir, for your kind comment, and yes that’s what I’m trying to spread. The words “you don’t have to have a gym membership” Not that I have anything negative at all to say about the gym, but you are right people don’t always haver the time to get there.
