A correct diet is necessary for losing weight but, without exercise to help the body improve its fitness rate, in most cases the diet gets forgotten.
My favorite machines for exercising are Treadmills, and Rowing machines. I always find rowing machines a little harder to use, but they definitely help greatly towards losing weight.
I think the secret is to have some equipment in our own home as it is can be used at any time at all, day and night, rather then having specific Gym hours, which can be limiting to the success of weight loss.

Ah, exercise! Love it or hate it! But we know we need it! Since Aug 2016, I started exercising regularly, after endless nagging by the wife. She’s an Xtend barre instructress and super fit. I walk 31 floors to my apartment, down, and up again, for a total of 62 floors! 3 times a week! It feels great!
I saw all these cool exercise machines on your post. The most attractive must be the Ex’ 1000 Workfit! Imagine sitting on a ‘cushioned backrest’ talking on the phone, typing away on a laptop AND exercising! Cool!

Afterall, a lot of us could do with some help when it comes to losing weight. However, one thing that I do say on site is that it will not be easy. Although, with determination and the will to achieve it, it is possible. Especially when you follow the advice that I give you.
I love the ideas you have. I don’t live in Los Angles, but San Diego is often crowed that many of the gyms do not have easy access. I also agree with playing music while exercising. having enough disciplined to work out is difficult, especially if it gets repetitive and boring. Music is a great way to keep energy and motivation up.

It helps your mind come away from any of the discomfort that you feel while exercising. (Which you should if you are doing it properly!) Thus, it will allow you to run, row or cycle that bit further. I live in Dubai and I think I nearly have the same problem. I always wish that I would find time to actually workout on the beach, but the time always is too short. I was thinking already a couple of times about home exercise equipment but never made my mind for space and where to put it. I feel like using one which you can falt away and the store might not be stable enough.
Yes, the time has got to be the overriding factor. However, using one of these pieces of equipment will SAVE YOU TIME. The time it takes to go to the gym and then return as well. And no, these days they are well capable of doing ones that are very stable. Although, You do get what you pay for in that regard.

As you said it will take time to lose the weight, I just hope it doesn’t take as long to remove my weight as it did to put it on, I might not get there!
haha, people often ask that question. “Will it take as long to lose the weight as it did to put it on??” And, however, although the answer is no it won’t take AS LONG to lose the weight. Remember this. You did not put the weight on overnight. Therefore do not expect the weight loss to be instant.
There is so much on exercise equipment out there that it is really confusing what to take.
Of course, the room, in our case, plays a huge role so a treadmill or an elliptical machine is out of the question.

wow! So many Devices for exercising! Actually, I feel a little overwhelmed with that amount of choice. It is like in Supermarkets: I prefer the small ones with less choice to those which have hundreds of items for the same purpose.
So my question to you: Which one do you use? Which one would you personally recommend, and what for? I don’t think that weight loss is the only reason why people would begin to exercise. So what are the benefits of one type of machine over the other and what is the real good one in its field?

Fundamentally, they all do the same thing for you. Yes, you can lose weight with them. Or you can just use them to stay on top of things in the health department. Personally, I go for the Concept2 every time. I just love that interactive feature, whereby you can race other concept2 to users who are on it at that moment. Brilliant.
Also, as a general rule of thumb Heidi, you do get what you pay for with this equipment. In so much as the accuracy of the data that it will give to you. Usually, the more expensive a model is, the better chance you have of the information being right.

Oh dear, I’m sorry for your health problems Song. And yes they do come singing and dancing. (With everything on them) these days. It sounds like you could be getting some good exercise. The only problem with that is that you have to LEAVE the comfort of your flat. WHEREAS, if you had an elliptical or an exercise bike, this would not be the case.
You could simply put it in front of the TV or stereo IN YOUR FLAT and be done with it. INSIDE YOUR FLAT.
