What Is The Best Weight Loss Diet? Come And Find Out

By | May 8, 2017

Hello dear reader. Here you can read all about the best weight loss diet. This post is of utmost importance to me as it was by being enlightened as to the health benefits as well as the physical appearance benefits that this method of eating the right foodstuffs would bring my way. A new altogether healthier way of living. And considering I was pretty bitter about my accident it really did reinvigorate me. It totally altered my focus. You can read all about Simon, me, right here.

When Choosing The Best Weight Loss Diet

There are two things that you should be aware of when choosing the best weight loss diet.

  1. Does it fit with your budget? As you do not want to sign up to an X number of months diet plan only to find that it is unsuitable and then have X number of months left after you cancel. You will be liable for the cost of the remaining months and will have to buy your way out in most cases.
  2. Will you have to starve yourself? Nobody in the world (I should certainly think) likes the feeling of intense hunger so ask yourself realistically if the diet will leave you feeling empty right from the word go. If it does you will more than likely fail at it and also waste your money

5 Foods To Never Eat For Your Weight Loss Diet

Now it is so easy to eat junk food but I am going to list 5 foods to never eat on a healthy weight loss diet. You must avoid these at all costs as they are both detrimental to your health and will pull no favours in the weight loss department. In fact they will be responsible for you putting weight on rather than losing it. This then it goes without saying really is going to be a massive challenge but if you stick to your plan of attack and do not deviate from the upcoming healthy diet menu then everything will be absolutely fine. You can do this. Just make sure that you NEVER eat these foods.

These are all bad foods to avoid and are in no particular order.

  • Processed meats – They contain many nitrates and artificial preservatives.
  • Any artificial sweeteners – If you can try to cut these out of your diet entirely.
  • Margarine –  If you want to lose your weight steer clear of this fat filled foodstuff.
  • Any cookies or cakes in a packet – Boxed or packaged has about 40 unwanted chemicals and lots of added sugar.
  • Fat free produce – Lack of fat means lots of added sugar to these already highly processed foods.

As soon as I spoke to my friend about how bad they all were for you and gathered myself together, I did some research on them and what came up on my computer made a seemingly tough decision to leave them alone seem like the most sensible decision I had ever made. Period.

Before any weight loss attempt is even began you really must, absolutely must have in place a healthy diet menu and know what not to eat. Take your time over this as as I have said before you will be eating these foods for the duration of your weight loss campaign at the very least if not much longer so they must be to your liking.

If you really want to lose weight naturally, tips are going to start you off on the correct path towards reaching the goal that you have set for yourself. Always bare in mind that no matter how much you wish someone could do this for you it cannot be done by anyone but you. Sure friends and family and the odd professional can offer support and advice but ultimately it is a solo mission.

Love Food Lose Weight

Love food lose weight is an irony faced by most dieters but basically unless you are going to eat far far to much of something (and you know how much is really too much) then it is not the quantity but the quality of what you are choosing to eat. You must make sure that the food has good nutritional values. All to often people quite wrongly consume copious amount of foods and that is terrible for any weight loss diet.

You really need some of these for a good weight loss diet

Some foods that help to make up a great weight loss diet

Eating the right foodstuffs is of paramount importance to this journey that you are travelling. Now that you have got your healthy diet menu in place let me just point you in the direction of some of the healthy foods that I would recommend to anyone who is trying to conceive  a healthy weight loss diet plan. You can squeeze some of these into your list of health foods I’m sure.

In no particular order here are some items that if you love food you will still be able to lose weight especially with the next component I’m going to briefly discuss in this post.

  • Apples – An excellent source of anti oxidants which help to slow the ageing process amongst other things.
  • Blue berries – Excellent source of nutrients and fibre too. Also contain antioxidants.
  • Oily fish – Salmon, mackerel etc AS with most fish contains omega 3 great for the nervous system and heart.
  • Sweet potato – Vitamins minerals and fibre found in these.
  • Avocado -Contains lots of vitamins and 75% of the calories come from the good fat it contains
  • As I have previously stated no amount of positive thought or cutting down on the foods we ingest will help you to lose much weight, if any. You really must address the issue of  WHAT you are/have been consuming. When you are made aware of the good, healthy foods that we should be eating and actually buy some of them in then that is half of this battle  already won.

Even more healthy foods

Home Exercise Routines

This paves the way to include my next point which is to ensure that you have your home exercise routines in place to get the optimum results for your weight loss quest. You have to simply combine your new healthy weight loss diet with an exercise or activity. You do  NOT need to divert your attention to heading off to the gym every time you wish to perform these must do tasks. They can be done in the comfort of your own home for sure.

As I have alluded to elsewhere on this site you must be certain of which exercises it is that you wish to perform as you will spend hours on a very regular basis doing them. It must be one that you feel you can do time and time again so as not to get bored with it and then give up. This would be the worst possible scenario I know but it is very all to easy to hastily choose one and then regret doing so later on.

This article will most definitely enlighten you as to how to approach and indeed enter in to the best weight loss diet. There are so many choices available to us that it is very difficult to choose the one best suited to us. If you are extremely lucky you may end up with a suitable one straight away or otherwise it may just be a case of trial and error until you actually find yourself the perfect weight loss diet and exercise for you.

Nowadays the information on these so called diets is plenty although to me it is sketchy at best as they are mostly much of a muchness. Counting Calories, carbohydrates and watching your fat intake and sugar intake and so on…. This to me is really rather obvious if we are honest with ourselves.

Personally I feel that we can avoid all of this confusion as it is completely unnecessary when we take the proverbial bull by the horns and go with a true perfect weight loss diet. You know what to what I refer right? You may have guessed it it is the natural diet.

"Get

But, Why Waste Your Money On A Diet When There Is An Alternative

So I say there really is no point in wasting your time searching out the right diet for you when we can opt for a natural way to lose weight avoiding all of these diets and opting for this method which has been endlessly proven to work (you are here now aren’t you?You might not yet be in the best shape but you are here.)

You can eat until you feel you have had enough as long as you consume the correct ingredients. So all you need to do is to ditch your “junk” foods that are either empty calories (contain no vitamins or minerals but do have calories) or loaded with sugar which I have to inform you now are both really bad for you and will just help you to gain weight and gradually get more and more unhealthy internally.

Whichever diet you choose to undergo for your weight loss challenge you must treat it as a lifestyle change and not a half half hearted attempt whereby you still expect to see results nothing short of miraculous. You need to find your motivation from somewhere to keep going along this road you have in front of you.

Too Much Of A Good Thing…

The point I alluded to earlier about “you can eat until you feel you have had enough” within reason is correct. However there will ALWAYS  come a point at which the good food you are eating will no longer benefit you and will actually have a kind of negative effect on you, so, do not over indulge on anything!

It remains the same principal for juicing and their recipes as they are exceptionally healthy for you indeed. Nothing else will naturally deliver such a variety of vitamins and minerals, however if we ingest copious amounts of these juices we will likely suffer from an upset stomach. This is something that I’m sure we would much rather avoid.

You see weight can be lost without using these products don’t get me wrong, but, using one or more of these pieces of apparatus will give you a huge advantage over those that do not care or do not want to use them. You must think of it as a natural short cut and should be the only one which is considered. Forget these so called “diet” pills. As someone who is trying to lose weight, I totally agree with your tips including the foods to NEVER eat. As someone who always is tempted to put the baked cookies in my trolley which has a lot of sugar and additives, I think it’s more about self-control as well, because you have a great diet plan but until you cut out the stuff you wont get results

I finally read on a blog that processed meat isn’t healthy at all! 😀
I’ve been trying to convince a lot of people that eating processed meat could harm them a lot, and they keep telling me that there’s no way and bla bla blah lol.
Now I’ll show them your post and make them understand for once 🙂
I really liked the article, I’m not a fan of weight loss pills, and I always prefer to go naturally. Do you have any favorite natural diet or it’s just about eating healthy and avoiding harmful stuff?

The nitrates debate is a hot one right now. We buy the nitrate free lunchmeats, but honestly I’m not sure it makes a big difference. We try to limit our consumption more than anything.

You have a lot of good points about losing weight. Ditching the processed foods has been the biggest transformation for my weight. The sugar is another big one.

Do you have any recommendations for meal ideas?
    Thanks

It’s absolutely true that it’s not about how much you eat but what you eat. My lower belly tend to jiggle more if I eat more white bread or white rice. But this can be reduced real quick when I avoid them and within 2 weeks I’ll start looking different. I’ve been playing around with diet more recently. I’m slowly adopting vegetarian-ish diet. I’m staying away from meat except for fish. And just eating more fruits and veggies. So far I’ve seen some difference but I gotta continue on a little longer to confirm.

    Hi there my friend Simon,

Great site and a fabulous article. Nitrates are not bad for you as they are found in natural foods such as fruit and vegetables. Nitrate content get converted into nitric oxygen in the mouth by a bacteria.

Nitrate rich diet can help lower blood pressure.

How refreshing it is to have a website that advocates eating good healthy food which is unprocessed and not fat free. Too much sugar is the enemy not good fats.
The information you give in this article is sound and steers people away from fad starvation type diets.
‘Love food, loose weight’ is a great phrase and portion control, as you indicated, is of prime importance along with the quality of the food you consume.
As for the exercise routine, you’re right. We don’t all need to head off to the gym and lets face it, not everyone can afford to pay for a gym membership.
All in all this is a very informative and sensible blog with plenty of good tips on how to change your eating and exercise regime and get healthy. Great post!

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head here with budget – even though you are improving your diet supermarkets tend to jump on your wallet and make it as difficult as possible. For some reason healthy and diet options are really high priced – no wonder so many western countries have a weight problem. Great article!

Great tips on weight loss and healthy foods. I was particularly interested in the lunch ideas. We’re all stressed and running around like loons in the morning and it’s so easy to skip breakfast and then be famished by lunchtime, ready to eat anything that doesn’t eat us first. Then we go out and there is option after option of pure junk, sugar, chemicals, fat covered by more sugar and doused with salt. I think it’s key to prepare some baggies of veggies and fruits and have them in the fridge, ready to grab at a moments notice like in the crazed mornings. I’ll put some salad in a bowl with a little dressing on the bottom (mix it at work later). I put some chicken or leftovers meats in some baggies and cut come cucumbers into 3 inch chunks in baggie too. In the a.m. I just have to grab and go. I’ll mix it up at lunch. If I’m not organized, I don’t have time to do it in the morning and then the whole diet slips.

I found this to be a very educational post. It details how your diet/food choices impact a healthy way of living. One key to healthy living is knowing what to avoid. The list of 10 foods to avoid here are well and entertainingly discussed. Things like sugar, high sodium content, high fructose corn syrup, processed foods, deep frying, refined white flour and others are discussed. It also discuses fitting healthy choices into a budget and being able to fully satisfy your appetite through natural, healthy food choices. Finally the importance of exercise is discussed with emphasis on home based strategies.

You talk about budget in dieting and that is so important. A lot of my friends spend a whole lot of money to buy so called “clean” food just to lose weight. I don’t know if this is healthy, but it seems that it goes too much over their budget as these foods do cost a lot.

Do you have a specific place where you shop for clean or healthy foods? Or you just buy them from your regular supermarket?

    Anyways, Great article!

    Hello,

This is great article for starters who want to lose some body fat or also want to balance his diet schedule. One and most important thing in whole dieting process in my opinion is balance! If you take one candy every day or chocolate bar you will not get fat instantly. But if you take bunch of candy every few days or even every day this leads to the fat gaining. Yes off course there are better and worse food to eat when you want to lose fat, and you mention that perfect in you post.

Processed meats now have been officially declared by the World Health Organization as carcinogens. There’s no doubt in my mind those who make these products know this but don’t care.

If they are carcinogens then how on earth are they still even legal? Money before people of course.

Thank you for sharing about the best food for diet. I have a question here, what about pears? Pears contain lots of fiber and is good for digestion. There is a saying that you can lose weight faster by cutting down the amount of salt and sodium, what do you think about it? What about taking laxative/soluble fiber solution like Metamucil or Psyllium Husk, do you think it would be helpful to lose weight? Thanks.

Pears yes sorry they help the digestive system enormously and I would personally never rely on laxatives to lose your excess weight when all you need is a healthy varied diet and an activity or exercise. Laxatives have a tendency to lead to dependence!

Thanks for this very thorough article on a weight loss diet that includes natural ways to lose as opposed to gimmicky fad diets that seem to come and go, flashes in the pan…

I have been involved in health and nutrition for many years and have published many videos and manuals while serving in the military regarding this subject…

We have always recommended using a natural system over the fad, it is a much more effective solution and over time not only will the fat melt away, but the overall lifestyle is healthier for participants…

Your recommendations are spot on from what I read and follow. Cutting out processed meats and canned/boxed foods that have a lot of chemicals helps.

Reduciung meats overall is not a bad move, most people eat way too much in their diet. The sugars and chemicals found in sodas and sweet drinks are simply not good…

    Hi there Simon,

The reason obesity is such an epidemic issue worldwide is largely due to modernization – sedentary lifestyle and lot’s of processed food being the two biggest factors.

What’s worrying is that we are seeing more younger children becoming overweight as a result of these. Therefore I personally think that healthy lifestyle should start from home.

When parents prepare healthy food for their children, it will remind them to do the same for themselves too. And if they keep doing this on a weekly or even daily basis, it will become a routine habit that makes weight loosing easier on everyone.

    Hi Simon:

I am attempting to lose about 20 pounds, so I enjoyed learning from you.

I really enjoyed reading your article on the best weight loss diet. You mention margarine being bad for you, but what about butter? Butter has been blamed for obesity and other weight problems, but lately it has been making a comeback. Butter is rich in vitamins A, E and K2 and most people do not get enough Vitamin K12 especially. Are there types of butter that are better than others? I know chefs often swear to Irish butter. But is it healthier for you? I sometimes will use olive oils in place of butter. Is that a good idea do you think?

I love avocados and I have a great guacamole recipe in which I use ripe avocados for so I like that you included them with foods that are good to eat. I know they have many calories in them, but as you said, they come from the “good fat”

Thank you for posting this article.

Ah well there is a difference between European and US butter and that is its content of butter fat. but studies have actually shown that they found absolutely no association between saturated fat and cardiovascular disease. Other studies lead to the same conclusion. Butter as you know is from cows and margarine is chemist so use common sense and choose which one you’d prefer?

I guess that may be one of the many reasons why people do not eat healthy is that the healthy food is not fulfilling itself. So, they may turn to something that is delicious on their taste buds and be satisfied with that.

What was your favorite unhealthy food you ate before being full committed to eating only healthy food?

Wishing you all the best with your online accomplishments above and beyond the horizon,

I don’t really have any but I do drink a lot of blended juices though to get loads of nutrition. Actually I’m just about to have a grapefruit, still water and manuka honey one in a minute, wanna try some lol.

Well, I am trying to stay off the sweet stuff lately since some of it getting on my back teeth cause some pain where even my feet ache. Not sure why that is. Perhaps I need a change of diet.

Yh you should it sound to me like the sugar in your sweet stuff is aggravating your teeth. You shouldn’t be eating that stuff anyway lol. If you had read my site properly you would surely know TO STAY away from sweet fake foodstuffs. They may taste great but its only the artificial enhancers and sweeteners they LOAD THE FOODS up with. Always read the label. I go by this rule. If you can’t pronounce it don’t eat it. Simple.
